This week, we embark on a new sermon series based on the Book of Philippians! The Book of Philippians talks about the joy that comes with living life with Christ! May we grow as a church, one that overflows with the joy of the Lord! 

He is ALIVE! Jesus is ALIVE! Victory over sin and eternal death has been received! The gift of salvation is for all who believe! This Easter Sunday, Rev Lewis Lew reminds us of this victory that we have received through the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! What a joy!

This day, we remember the sacrifice that is Jesus Christ, the Lamb offering for our sins once and for all. It is His work on the cross that enables us to stand in the presence of our Heavenly Father as a forgiven people. God has called us to be a house of prayer, and we have a role to play in the salvation of the world. Yet how often do we find ourselves placing our own interests above the plans and will of God Sister Yee Peng shares with us this message and challenges us to be critical and ask ourselves if we have devoted enough time in God's house of prayer.

In many ways, we can be conditioned by the world to find the act of forgiveness difficult to put into practice. Yet, forgiveness is an act of love that we must embrace. This week, our brother Carl Thong shares with us on the power of forgiveness, and how we can cultivate a lifestyle that seeks to forgive, and not condemn.

The season of Lent is a time for reflection, fasting, and prayer. Specifically, this is a season of reflecting on greatness, humility and servanthood. Rev Lewis Lew urges us to ask ourselves the very question that Jesus asked in Matthew 20:22 - "Can you drink the cup?" This teaching will encourage you to press in deeper to God in your own walk with Him.
