Support for Nepal Trip 2010

Please continue to uphold our team (Stephanie, Fu Da, Fu Wen, Kimi and Mark)
in prayer as they minister in Janakpur among the Maithili people. Do pray
that God will work signs and wonders through their Ministry. Pray also for
God's presence and Protection to be with the team as they seek to accomplish
the Lord's Will through their Mission trip.
Baptism Course

Baptism is a command instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ to demonstrate our
commitment and obedience to Him. (matthew 28:18-20) We encourage members who
are yet to be baptised, to consider Baptism. Please sign up the Baptism by
giving your name to Linda.
Second Offering
================
"Across" will be collecting an offering to help the flood victims in Pakistan.
The magnitude of Pakistan flood has been a disaster that is worse than the
Tsunami, the 2005 Pakistan Earthquake and the Haiti Earthquake.
Our Church will be collecting the offering for them on next Sunday.
We appeal to members to give generously to help those who are suffering in
Pakistan as a result of this flood.
Alpha at ASE October 1st

Please invite your friends, family or colleagues who might benefit from
attending this exciting course. Members of ASE are also encouraged to sign up.
The course will be conducted on Friday nights from 7.15 to 9.30pm. Dinner will
be provided.
Our Alpha introductory session will be held on 18 September from 10am to 12 noon
at Emmanuel Chapel. We have invited Pastor Lawrence Seow as our guest speaker.
